## Thuthuka Bursary Fund Details
Powered by the South African Institute for Chartered Accountants (SAICA), the Thuthuka Bursary Fund aims to select qualified individuals from the African and Coloured student body who are interested to become Chartered Accountants, for undergraduate BCom Accounting education programs.
SAICA is one of the most influential accountancy firms in the country. As a critical stakeholder in society, SAICA has undertaken the responsibility of ensuring that there is a consistent flow into the economy of adequately and suitably qualified accounting professionals who are representative of the country’s demographics. This is done via various skills development initiatives at primary, high school, and tertiary education levels. Thus, the Thuthuka Bursary Fund was established.
Furthermore, Thuthuka is searching annually for scholastically excellent students who are strong at Mathematics. However, those who perform strongly in other subjects should not be put off applying.
