The U.S. funds Sierra Leonean Masters and PhD candidates through Fulbright Foreign Student, the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Mastercard Foundation Scholars at Berkeley, Michigan and Arizona State, and need-blind aid at Harvard, MIT, Yale and Princeton. Sierra Leonean applicants are well-represented in U.S. global-health, public-policy and conflict-resolution programmes.
