• To be eligible, applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old on 1 February of the scholarship year, a citizen and resident of a participating country, and not hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency. They must not be married to or engaged to an Australian or New Zealander citizen/permanent resident. Serving military personnel are ineligible. Previous long-term awardees must have resided outside Australia for twice the length of their previous scholarship to reapply. Applicants must not have criminal convictions, including those related to Child Protection and PSEAH. They must satisfy institution admission requirements and Student Visa requirements. Scholarships are not for a study level lower than already achieved. Specific country criteria may also apply (e.g., years of work experience).
