Frequently asked questions
Can African founders attend Apple Entrepreneur Camp?
Yes. The program is global — African founders building Apple-platform apps are explicitly eligible. You will need a US visitor visa to attend the in-person sessions at Apple Park.
Is Apple Entrepreneur Camp paid?
Camp is free, but Apple does not pay you. You cover travel, accommodation, and visa costs. Apple provides one year of Developer Program membership at no cost.
Do I need an existing app?
Yes. You need either a shipped app or a working prototype on an Apple platform — not just an idea. The lab is technical, not pre-incubation.
What cohorts run each year?
Apple typically runs 3–4 cohorts per year. Watch the Apple Entrepreneur Camp page for current applications.
