Twenty-five of the brightest minds from across Sub-Saharan Africa, who have been orphaned or grown up with a single parent, will have the opportunity to study at the University of Warwick for three to four years.

DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service Scholarships)
The DAAD is funded by the German government and aims to support students in Germany and abroad who have demonstrated outstanding academic ability.

The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships Program
The Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships program provides funding to the very best postdoctoral applicants, both nationally and internationally, who will positively contribute to the country’s economic, social, and research-based growth.
Seventy fellowships are awarded annually, with a PhD scholarship amount of $70,000 per year for 2 years maximum.

Albukhary Undergraduate Scholarships
Ten competitive scholarships based on academic merit and financial need has been made possible, thanks to a generous donation from the Albukhary Foundation— a charity based in Malaysia with a focus on facilitating access to a world-class education.

The Bolashaq International Scholarship Program is the flagship scholarship program of the government of Kazakhstan and is managed by the ‘Centre for International Programs’. This merit-based scholarship program is designed to train future leaders in a number of the country’s priority areas.

British Council Women in STEM
This year, in partnership with the British Council the University of Warwick is proud to announce five fully funded scholarships for female students from South Asia interested in pursuing master’s studies in the field of Climate Change.
Each of these scholarships covers full tuition fees, monthly stipends, a return economy class ticket, and other study-related costs such as IELTS exam fee, visa application, and NHS surcharge.

CAPES is a foundation within the Ministry of Education in Brazil whose central purpose is to coordinate efforts to improve the quality of Brazil’s faculty and staff in higher education through grant programs.

The scholarship supports a maximum of three years of undergraduate study and will cover tuition and other compulsory fees.
Scholarship recipients benefit from a funding of up to $65,000 SGD per year to cover fees and contribution to living expenses.

Fulbright Commission Awards
One Fulbright-University of Warwick Award will be offered to pursue a one-year Master’s degree program (or the first year of a longer Master’s or PhD program) in any subject. The opportunity covers the full tuition fee and a £14,000 stipend towards general maintenance costs.

Japan IMF Scholarship Program
To be eligible for the Japan-IMF Scholarship Program (JISP) you must be:
- A Japanese citizen
- Able to obtain a Ph.D. by age 34.
- Studying at, or applying to, a Ph.D. program in macroeconomics at a university outside of Japan. Only universities with a strong doctoral program in macroeconomics are eligible.
- Entering the 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of the Ph.D. program.

The University of Warwick will offer one Li Xiaoming Scholarship, worth up to £20,000 (payment of up to £20,000 towards tuition fees).

Marshall Scholarships
The Warwick Marshall Scholarship is awarded to one US citizen annually to undertake a postgraduate taught or research degree at the University of Warwick, normally for up to two years.
The award consists of university fees at the full overseas rate, cost of living expenses, annual book grant, thesis grant, research and daily travel grants, fares to and from the United States, and, where applicable, a contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse.

Under this scheme, up to five PhD students per year are pre-selected and sponsored by China’s Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) to spend two years at Warwick followed by a further two years at SUSTech with co-supervision throughout, graduating with a Warwick PhD upon successful completion.

Trudeau Foundation
Each year, the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation rewards outstanding doctoral candidates who are enrolled or about to be enrolled in a social sciences and humanities program and who are doing research in areas related to our four themes.
This award is the most prestigious of its type in Canada. In addition, it has continuously attracted the very best scholars in the social sciences and humanities, individuals with a passion for public engagement and who are likely to become leading national and international figures.
Up to 16 scholarships are awarded up to $60,000, for up to three years of study.

The WGAHK Scholarship Fund is the first Warwick scholarship established by local alumni outside the UK.
Warwick Graduates’ Association Hong Kong (WGAHK) announces that WGAHK Scholarship valued at HK$40,000 will be awarded to a candidate who meets the following criteria:
- Has accepted an offer to an undergraduate program in any subject area at the University of Warwick for the academic year 2021/2022
- Is a new entrant to the University of Warwick (Continuing students are not eligible to apply)
- Is a permanent resident of the Hong Kong SAR

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation presents grants to outstanding candidates, selected by a distinguished Selection panel.
The grant will be used primarily to cover the University tuition fee, books, and medical insurance. Furthermore, the grant size shall be determined for each individual case based on the student’s needs and merit/achievement.
The majority of the grants shall cover up to 60% of the total amount requirement (maximum of USD 50,000 for the overall period of studies (1-2 years)). Students are expected to cover the rest of the expenses by either contributing personal funds or finding matching funding.
