One lucky Kenyan student studying Justice and Law will be viable for a £10,000 scholarship at the University of Edinburgh through the GREAT Scholarships.

Kenyan students applying to any eligible MSC or LLM program of study within the School of Law shall be entitled to the opportunity.

Benefits of the GREAT Scholarships

Each scholarship will award an amount of £10,000 which will be deducted from successful applicants’ tuition fees and will be tenable for one academic year. Please take note: Only one scholar from Kenya shall be granted the award.

Eligibility Criteria for Kenyan Students

At the University of Edinburgh, the Scholarship will be awarded to a national and resident of Kenya who is accepted for admission on a full-time basis for any taught (on campus) LLM or MSc program listed above within the School of Law.

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, the overseas equivalent of a UK first-class honors degree. 

How to Apply

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application

The scholarship deadline is 23:59 GMT 21st April 2022.

In order to gain access to the scholarship application system applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.  Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to ten working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.

The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk
