Benefits of the ABE Initiative SDGs Global Leader Program
The program intends to strengthen the partnership between Africa and Japan, as well as the implementation of political-strategic decision-making and execution, in order to capacitate young or mid-career human resources who are contributing to tackling difficulties faced in numerous disciplines.
Applicants should ideally be middle-management government employees or academics who are passionate about making a difference in public policy administration and economics and want to be active in policy formulation, politics, and development challenges.
Participants in the program may also be interested in participating in “Additional Programs,” which include networking events with Japanese companies and internship opportunities. The Japan Development Studies Program (JICA-DSP), which gives information about Japan’s modernization, World War II, and development experiences, is also promoted.
