The Rotary Foundation and the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education have teamed up to tackle the world’s water and sanitation crisis by increasing the number of trained professionals to devise, plan, and implement solutions in developing and emerging countries. Through this partnership, The Rotary Foundation will provide grants to Rotary clubs and districts to select and sponsor a limited number of students each year. Learn more about the opportunity below!

Benefits of the Rotary Scholarships
The Rotary Foundation awards scholarships of approximately €36,000, paid directly to UNESCO-IHE. Funding to cover additional costs (including international travel) related to participation in the academic program will be coordinated by UNESCO-IHE.
UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education at The Netherlands will be hosting the said scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
On another note, students eligible for this scholarship must be provisionally admitted to eligible degree programs at UNESCO-IHE. The opportunity presents a 2-month Master of Science degree program in Water and Sustainable Development, in one of the following thematic tracks:
• Water and Health
• Water Resources and Ecosystem Health
How to Apply
By submitting the application form for a scholarship to the Rotary/IHE Delft committee in the Netherlands along with a resume and the IHE Delft admission letter, students admitted to IHE Delft Institute for Water Education’s 12-month Master of Science program in Water and Sustainable Development can be nominated by a local Rotary Club in their home community. Only completely funded and filed application forms from the sponsoring Rotary Club will be considered. Go find your nearest Rotarian Club to start the process
April 1, 2022 is the last day to apply for one of the IHE-approved MSc programs. Meanwhile, before April 15, 2022, the sponsoring Rotary Club must have already submitted your application to the Rotary/IHE Delft selection committee in The Netherlands.
