The Milken-Motsepe Innovation Prize Program offers a total of $2 million prize money for its competitions on agritech innovations.
A series of multi-year, multimillion-dollar prize competitions are being spearheaded by the program in order to accelerate progress towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a spotlight on Africa.\]
Registration for the competition is free and open to everyone, with a $1 million grand prize available for the winning team, and another $1 million in additional prizes.

## Benefits of the Milken-Motsepe Innovation Prize Program
Aside from the $2 million worth of prizes, benefits pledged under the Milken-Motsepe Innovation Prize Program include a wide set of opportunities for entrepreneurs.
This solution stems from the issue of African entrepreneurs lacking the information and tools they need to bring their inventions to life.
After completing the free registration process, aspiring applicants are given the opportunity to join an online community of other entrepreneurs. The portal shall give people in Agritech innovations access to the following:
- Team Matchmaking
- Resources for Entrepreneurs
- Online Training & Help Desk
In addition, teams are entitled to a 12-week experiential learning program powered by the Stanford Center for Professional Development Idea to Market curriculum.
Upon completion of the program, teams will receive a Certificate of Completion. During the duration of the program, innovators are granted access to mentoring from industry experts as well as pitch & feedback sessions.
Meanwhile, winning teams will join the Milken-Motsepe Innovation Prize Program alumni network following prize completion, with access to:

- Data Analysis
- Networking Opportunities
## Eligibility Criteria
The inaugural Milken-Motsepe Prize focuses on accelerating progress towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1 and 2, which are: no poverty and zero hunger.
The Milken-Motsepe Prize in AgriTech is a global competition for innovative solutions to increase economic value to farmers, from seed to sale.
