Young African Phosphorus Fellowship Awards for African Researchers

The Young African Phosphorus Fellowship will be giving out awards worth $5,000 to African researchers working in either a National Agricultural Research and Extension System (NARES) institution or an African university.

Through the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI), the Young African Phosphorus Fellowship came to fruition. The award was created to encourage scientific programs relevant to understanding and improving phosphorus management in African agro-ecosystems.

What is the African Plant Nutrition Institute?

The African Plant Nutrition Institute is a not-for-profit research and education organization based in Benguérir, Morocco with additional offices located in Settat, Morocco; Nairobi, Kenya; and Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire.

APNI has the ultimate mission is of enhanced plant nutrition for a resilient and food secure Africa.
