The Harvey Mudd Merit Award is made available for both domestic and international students taking up an undergraduate degree within Harvey Mudd College.

Known as part of the Claremont Colleges, Harvey Mudd College (HMC) is a scientific and engineering-focused private college in Claremont, California.

It offers nine majors in engineering, science, and mathematics, all of which are built on a strong core curriculum that incorporates a substantial dosage of humanities and social science courses.

The Harvey Mudd Merit Award offers $10,000 to be used for tuition expenses for successful applicants.

Students who enroll in this institution will have the opportunity to participate in campus life through programming, governance, and co-curricular activities. Through events and leadership opportunities, students will form meaningful and lasting connections with their communities.

Eligibility Criteria for International Students

Students, both international and domestic, are qualified to apply for the said merit award. All nationalities shall be equally considered. Furthermore, the amount shall cover undergraduate degrees in any subject offered by the university.

All first-year applicants, domestic and international, are considered for the Harvey S. Mudd Merit Award.

However, recipients must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 by the conclusion of each spring term.
