## Funding The handbook says tuition/expenses for 2027 enrollees have not been determined. Do not imply JPY 1,140,000 / JPY 285,000 are guaranteed final 2027 values; these are institutional category figures, subject to confirmation. ## Funding exclusions and conditions Not a full-cost scholarship. Payment is a lump sum in the autumn after enrollment. Certain permanent, dependent, spouse and long-term residence categories excluded. Award category accompanies admission, but all eligible students must also submit the post-enrollment scholarship application. The JPY 15,000 application fee must be paid within the window; credit-card payment ends at 15:00 Japan Time on the last day.
