Young people from Africa and Indigenous youth in Canada. The program's partner institutions are primarily in Africa, but also in North and Central America, Europe, and the Middle East. Targeting young people who will drive inclusive and equitable socio-economic change in Africa, including women and marginalized groups. Scholars are selected through partner institutions.

Each partner institution has its own timelines for admission, fees, and application guidelines. Research the program of choice and contact the relevant institution for more information. ## Application fee Application fees are set by individual partner institutions. For institutions that require application fees, these will be reimbursed if the candidate is selected for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Some partners, especially Africa-based universities, do not require SAT or TOEFL scores. > Always confirm final requirements and deadlines on the official scholarship website before applying.
