Get weekly updates on new scholarships offerings here. * * * ## Benefits of the FutureLearn ‘Change the World’ Scholarship The FutureLearn Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for young trailblazers to make a difference in the world by becoming the change they want to see. They aim to provide transformative online learning tools and guidance while participants supply ground-breaking ideas and raw talent. As a FutureLearn scholar, qualified participants are entitled to get: - £4,000 of free learning from FutureLearn and The Open University. - £1,000 that can be used towards home study, specialist learning tools, or equipment. - 8 hours of world-class mentorship and coaching from leading industry experts. The organizers will also be offering 100 runners up a free 12-month subscription to FutureLearn Unlimited. That means limitless access to all of FutureLearn’s short courses for a year. ## Eligibility Criteria for Interested Participants Applicants must submit a 300-word essay advising how they intend to change the world, and be prepared to participate in a video interview if shortlisted. ## How to Apply for the Essay Competition FutureLearn is looking for the world’s most daring and brightest inventors to stand up and explain how their passion will help them create a better future. To apply, simply respond to the following three questions at the final stage of your application: - Which of FutureLearn’s four focus topics appeals to you the most? - How you’re going to make a name for yourself in it - Why is it so thrilling right now? - Say why your topic area matters and how you’d make a difference, whether you’re serious about sustainability, addicted to coding, enthusiastic about education, or want to lead in mental health.
