The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) program is part of the Swedish government’s worldwide awards program targeted at training global leaders who will contribute to the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Swedish Institute administers the program, which is supported by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SI).

The program provides a once-in-a-lifetime chance for worldwide professionals to grow professionally and academically, to learn about Swedish society and culture, and to form long-term bonds with Sweden and one another.

Ideal candidates are ambitious young professionals with academic qualifications, demonstrated work and leadership experience, ambition to make a difference by working with issues that contribute to a just and sustainable development in their country in a long term perspective, and a clear idea of how a study program in Sweden would benefit their country.
