International entrants eligible; music applicants must be first-year, Scottish Arts transfers may be considered. Demonstrate performance/composition skill; select one scholarship area; ongoing lessons and participation required. Music renewal requires lessons on the audition instrument, grade C− or satisfactory audit, juries except composition, and qualifying ensemble participation. Scottish Arts renewal requires successful private lessons and Marching/Symphonic Band participation. Other merit awards become honorary if Presidential full tuition is awarded.

Wooster Music and Scottish Arts Scholarships Provider: The College of Wooster Study destination: United States Study level: Bachelor Award USD2,000–12,000/year tuition plus subsidized private lessons, up to eight semesters. Eligibility International entrants eligible; music applicants must be first-year, Scottish Arts transfers may be considered. Demonstrate performance/composition skill; select one scholarship area; ongoing lessons and participation required. Music renewal requires lessons on the audition instrument, grade C− or satisfactory audit, juries except composition, and qualifying ensemble participation. Scottish Arts renewal requires successful private lessons and Marching/Symphonic Band participation. Other merit awards become honorary if Presidential full tuition is awarded. Eligible African countries: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe. All other academic, residency and programme requirements also apply. Application timing Admission Early Action/Early Decision by November 1, 2026; scholarship materials by midnight EST December 1 (Early Decision November 1). February 14–15, 2027 experience or approved alternative audition.
