Princeton in Africa places early-career professionals in year-long fellowships with partner organisations across Africa. **This is a work fellowship, not a degree scholarship.** ## Who can apply - Young professionals, or undergraduates graduating by June 2027 - A bachelor's, master's or PhD from a 4-year US-accredited university **or a 4-year locally accredited university in Africa** - Full professional English (CEFR C1+); Arabic, French, Kiswahili or Portuguese preferred for some posts - Born on or after 1 September 1992 (35 or under for the whole fellowship year) - Passport valid for 6 months after the fellowship year - Not enrolled in a graduate programme during the fellowship ## What it covers Princeton in Africa and host organisations cover housing and a living stipend, certain visas/work permits, medical and evacuation insurance, and a mid-year retreat with partial travel allowance. Packages vary by post; travel support is available for fellows with demonstrated need. ## Timeline - Deadline: Monday 26 October 2026, 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time - Interview notices: early December 2026; virtual interviews 6–12 January 2027 - Placements: February–May 2027
