Critères d'éligibilité
Nationals of PEC-G partner countries (including Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, São Tomé e Príncipe) who have completed secondary school, are aged 18+ and apply through the Brazilian embassy or consulate in their country.
Présentation du programme
The Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G), run by Brazil's Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, offers free places on full undergraduate degrees at Brazilian higher-education institutions, without tuition or entrance exams. Applicants without the CELPE-Bras Portuguese certificate apply together with PEC-PLE (a Portuguese-language year in Brazil). For the 2027 intake, the edital was published on 30 March 2026 and online pre-registration ran 31 March – 9 May 2026; first-call results are out and selected candidates must reply to their embassy by 13 October 2026. The 2028 cycle has not been announced. Note: PEC-G is a free place, not a living-allowance scholarship — students must show they can support themselves.
