Applicants must be citizens of an African Union Member State and undertake to serve any African Union Member State for a period equal to at least the duration of the scholarship after completing their studies. The PAU aims to develop high-quality human resources for the continent, emphasizing science, technology, innovation, and social sciences. ## What's covered The Pan-African University Full Scholarships provide comprehensive financial support to all successful applicants. This fully-funded award covers all tuition fees, ensuring that students can focus entirely on their academic pursuits without financial burden. In addition to tuition, the scholarship includes living expenses, which are disbursed as stipends. Medical insurance for students is also covered, with provisions made from the disbursed stipends by each PAU institute. This all-encompassing support aims to provide a comfortable and conducive environment for scholarly advancement. ## Who can apply To be eligible for the Pan-African University Full Scholarships, applicants must be citizens of an African Union Member State. A fundamental requirement for all scholarship recipients is a commitment to serve an African Union Member State for a period equivalent to the duration of their scholarship, immediately following the successful completion of their studies. Furthermore, students are allowed to engage in income-generating activities only with the explicit approval of the PAU Rectorate, and only if such activities do not interfere with their academic programs.
