Programme category: Scholarship Application status checked on 22 October 2026: OPEN. The University of Strathclyde offers a limited number of £10,000 tuition awards for eligible Humanities and Social Sciences taught master’s entrants starting in January 2027. Funding lasts one year and does not cover living expenses. The deadline is 30 November 2026. Applicants from African countries may qualify if they are self-funded international non-EU students holding an offer for an eligible full-time attendance programme. Selection is competitive and based on academic performance and relevant extracurricular or professional experience, rather than financial need. There is no separate scholarship application. Eligible offer-holders are assessed automatically using their programme applications and supporting documents. Automatic consideration does not guarantee an award. Online and blended programmes, postgraduate diplomas and certificates, PGDE and MSW Social Work are excluded. Recipients must enrol in January 2027 and remain eligible. Deferral or transfer to another programme or faculty forfeits the non-transferable award. Only one Strathclyde scholarship may be held per academic year.
