Strathclyde’s standard Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship provides a £6,000 tuition reduction for eligible January 2027 taught master’s entrants. The award is open, with a published deadline of 30 November 2026. Applicants from African countries are eligible if they pay international non-EU fees, are self-funded, and hold an offer for an eligible full-time engineering course delivered on campus in Glasgow. Full government or embassy sponsorship makes an applicant ineligible. This is not PhD funding and does not cover living expenses. No separate scholarship form is required. All eligible offer-holders receive the award automatically; it is added to the student record after the deposit is received and deducted from tuition fees. Apply for the relevant taught master’s programme and meet its offer requirements. The scholarship cannot be deferred or moved to another intake. Only one Strathclyde scholarship is available per academic year. This standard £6,000 award is separate from the limited, competitive Engineering Dean’s International Excellence Awards and cannot be stacked with them.
