Présentation du programme
## Overview Mundus MAPP is the Erasmus Mundus Master's in Public Policy, run jointly by Central European University, the International Institute of Social Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals and the University of York. Students spend the two years of the degree in two countries, depending on the study track they choose, and graduate with a joint qualification in public policy analysis, global governance and political economy. ## Level and destination Two-year master's degree, studied in two countries according to the selected track (Austria, the Netherlands, Spain or the United Kingdom). ## Eligibility for African applicants Open to international applicants, including nationals of all African countries. Published requirements include: * a qualifying bachelor's degree, with at least a **3.17/4.0 GPA** or equivalent, and upper-second-class performance where that classification applies; * English-language proficiency (extra proof may be needed for a Netherlands student visa on the ISS tracks); * ability to meet the physical-mobility requirement — you must actually move between the two host countries. Bachelor's degrees in the natural sciences and engineering are **excluded** under the published rules. ## Funding coverage and exclusions Competitive Erasmus Mundus awards provide a full tuition-fee waiver plus **€1,400 per month for 24 months — up to €33,600**. That monthly amount is intended to cover travel, visa, installation and living costs; it is not paid on top of separately reimbursed expenses. Read the financial-aid page closely before you budget: the consortium lists compulsory study-visit, winter-school, travel and visa expenses that students pay themselves. Health insurance meeting Erasmus Mundus minimum requirements is purchased by the consortium for all enrolled students. A separate institutional scholarship offers a 50% tuition waiver in each year but includes **no stipend**. ## Deadline **1 December 2026 at 23:59 CET** — the application deadline for anyone who wants to be considered for financial aid. Later deadlines (15 April 2027 and 1 July 2027) are for self-funded applicants only. ## How to apply 1. Choose your study track — this decides the two countries you will live in. 2. Apply centrally through CEU's online application system and clearly indicate that you wish to be considered for a scholarship. 3. Upload transcripts with a GPA on the 4.0 scale (use a conversion tool if your transcript uses another scale), your English test result, CV, references and statement of purpose. 4. Submit by 1 December 2026, 23:59 CET. First-round decisions are released in April 2027. ## Official links How to apply: [mundusmapp.org/how-to-apply](https://www.mundusmapp.org/how-to-apply/) · Calendar: [admissions calendar](https://www.mundusmapp.org/admissions-calendar/) · Requirements: [admissions requirements](https://www.mundusmapp.org/admissions-requirements/) · Funding: [financial aid](https://www.mundusmapp.org/financial-aid/) **Verified:** 18 September 2026 against the Mundus MAPP admissions calendar, requirements and financial-aid pages.
