Critères d'éligibilité

English-taught programme, so English-language evidence is required.

Présentation du programme

## Overview Hydro Science and Engineering (HSE) at TU Dresden is a 100% English-taught master's in water: urban water systems, groundwater, flood risk and integrated resource management. It has run for over 20 years with alumni in more than 110 countries, and is recognised by DAAD under the EPOS scheme for development-related postgraduate courses. ## Level and destination Two-year MSc, full-time, in English, at TU Dresden, Germany. ## Eligibility for African applicants * From a DAAD-eligible developing country. * A relevant first degree in a natural science or engineering subject. * Meets the DAAD EPOS conditions, including relevant professional experience and the limit on how old your last degree may be. * English-language evidence as required by the programme. ## Funding coverage and exclusions The award is the standard DAAD EPOS package — monthly living stipend, health insurance and travel costs. The department's pages do not say how tuition is handled for EPOS holders, so ask before assuming a full waiver. ## Deadline — read carefully TU Dresden publishes a standing annual rule rather than a dated 2027/28 call: * **15 October each year** if you apply directly to TU Dresden, for studies starting the following year. * **31 July each year** if you apply through a German Embassy or DAAD regional office. Because the department has not published a cycle-specific announcement, we have not stored 15 October 2026 as a confirmed deadline. Write to the HSE coordinator to confirm the 2027/28 round before you plan around that date. Self-funded applicants use different, later windows (1 April–31 May for non-EU applicants via uni-assist). ## How to apply 1. Confirm the current EPOS round with the department. 2. Assemble the DAAD EPOS documents and the programme's own requirements. 3. Send the complete DAAD scholarship application to the Department of Hydro Sciences, TU Dresden, as instructed on the application page. ## Official links Application: [TU Dresden HSE application](https://tu-dresden.de/bu/umwelt/hydro/studium/bewerbung?set_language=en) · EPOS at TU Dresden: [DAAD EPOS page](https://tu-dresden.de/studium/vor-dem-studium/internationales/stipendien/daad-epos?set_language=en) **Checked:** 19 September 2026. Deadline stored as an annual rule, not a confirmed 2027/28 date.
