Applications must be made jointly by a researcher at an African institution and a researcher at the University of Cambridge or an affiliated institution, both at post-doctoral level or above. Genuine two-way collaboration must be demonstrated.

## Overview The Cambridge-Africa ALBORADA Research Fund supports pairs of researchers — one based at an African institution and one at the University of Cambridge or an affiliated institute — to start or strengthen a research collaboration. Nearly 400 awards have been made since 2012. ## What it covers Grants for research consumables, fieldwork, data collection, travel between institutions and short training visits. ## How to apply African and Cambridge applicants co-create a single joint application and submit it through the Cambridge-Africa website during the annual call.
