نظرة عامة على البرنامج

Programme category: Scholarship Application status checked on 22 October 2026: OPEN. The University of Sydney’s Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships Scheme is a competitive first-year award, not renewable funding for an entire degree. Award levels are A$60,000, A$40,000, A$20,000, A$10,000 and A$5,000. The two largest are split into equal semester payments; smaller awards cover one semester. Some values may be restricted to particular cohorts. Eligibility and conditions International applicants, including Africans, must not yet have commenced their eligible onshore CRICOS undergraduate or coursework master’s degree and must hold an unconditional offer by a round’s cutoff. Selection is academic and subject to funds. Australian Government scholarship recipients are excluded. Recipients of the Sydney International Student Award can receive at most A$40,000 VCIS. Accepting another Sydney-administered scholarship above A$20,000 annually can terminate VCIS. A second instalment requires semester average mark 65 and no unpaid fees. Normally no deferral or suspension is allowed; unapproved part-time study or loss of international status can end support. Automatic consideration No separate scholarship application is required. The next Semester 1 2027 unconditional-offer cutoff is 16 November 2026. Special IB/UAC consideration follows December results and offers. Semester 2 2027 cutoffs are 15 February, 22 March and 3 May. Use the course admission route (https://www.sydney.edu.au/study/applying.html), accept the offer by the scholarship-round deadline and remain enrolled after census. Read the current VCIS terms (https://www.sydney.edu.au/scholarships/e/vice-chancellor-international-scholarships-scheme.html). Application timing Next Semester 1 2027 unconditional-offer cutoff: 16 November 2026; earlier rounds have passed. Separate IB/UAC consideration follows the specified December 2026 results/offer rounds. Semester 2 2027 cutoffs: 15 February, 22 March and 3 May 2027. No separate scholarship form.
