نظرة عامة على البرنامج

## Overview TAGDev 2.0 (Transforming African Agricultural Universities to Meaningfully Contribute to Africa's Growth and Development) is a ten-year RUFORUM programme (2023-2033) funded by the **Mastercard Foundation**. At the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST) it funds students on the BSc in Food Science and Technology, MSc in Entrepreneurship and MEng in Applied Chemical Engineering. ## Benefits - Tuition and university fees at MUST. - Living, accommodation and learning-materials support. - Leadership, entrepreneurship and community-engagement training within the RUFORUM/Mastercard Foundation network. ## Eligibility - Academically competent but economically disadvantaged young Africans, with Malawian applicants prioritised at MUST. - Must meet MUST admission requirements for the chosen programme (e.g. six MSCE credits including Biology, Physical Science, Mathematics and English for the BSc; a good first degree plus work experience for the Masters programmes). - Women, refugees, internally displaced persons and applicants with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply. ## How to apply Apply through the RUFORUM application portal using Call ID **RU/2026 MUST/TAGDEV2.0**, then submit the printed application with supporting documents to MUST. The 2026/2027 round closed on **1 May 2026**; the call is reissued each academic year.
