SAAFoST Foundation Undergraduate Bursary Provider: SAAFoST Foundation Study destination: South Africa Study level: Bachelor, Diploma Award Tuition up to R60,000 yearly until graduation, conditional on results; withdrawal/failure can trigger conversion to a loan. Eligibility South African citizens/permanent residents resident at least three years, full-time first Food Science/Technology degree/diploma students; SAAFoST membership for at least 12 months; 2027 registration required. Non-South-African nationals qualify only as South African permanent residents. Eligible African countries: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
