Non-EEA/non-EFTA nationals (including all African countries) admitted to a full-time Leiden University master's programme. Standard LLM and Law School MSc programmes are excluded; Advanced LLMs and MSc International Relations and Diplomacy are open to all nationalities.

## About the Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS) The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS) is a competitive, merit-based award for outstanding non-EU/EEA students enrolling in a selected English-taught master’s programme at Leiden University. African students are strongly encouraged to apply. ## Award value - €10,000 toward tuition - €15,000 toward tuition - €25,000 toward tuition (covers full tuition for most programmes) ## Eligibility - Non-EU/EEA nationality - Hold (or be on track for) a non-Dutch bachelor’s equivalent to a Dutch academic bachelor - Excellent academic results in previous studies (top 10%) - Admitted to a LExS-eligible Leiden master’s programme ## How to apply 1. Apply for admission to your Leiden master’s programme via Studielink. 2. Submit the LExS application form (motivation + academic transcripts) before the programme deadline (1 October for February intake; 1 February for September intake). 3.
