Federation University’s 2027 Global Merit Scholarship reduces tuition fees by 25% for the duration of an eligible degree. The reduction is calculated on the units enrolled in each semester and credited to the student fee account. It does not provide cash or living-cost funding. Eligible students are new international entrants commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree in 2027. They need at least a 75% average, or the university’s equivalent, in the studies used for admission and must be eligible to study in Australia with a valid visa. Listed locations are Ballarat, Berwick, Gippsland and Melbourne City. Online, exchange and study-abroad students are excluded. The scholarship opens on 9 November 2026 and closes on 7 November 2027. There is no separate scholarship application: International Admissions assesses students when making an offer. Course-specific application, acceptance and payment cutoffs remain relevant. The international admissions guide directs applicants from Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda and Ghana to a registered Federation agent. Applicants from other African countries normally use StudyLink. Follow the official guide for the applicable route and admission requirements. The award cannot be converted to cash or deferred to a later calendar year. Withdrawal forfeits it.
