Colgate University in New York meets the full demonstrated financial need of admitted international undergraduates. Applicants from every African country may apply. Admission is need-aware: financial need can affect selection. Full need means the amount Colgate calculates after reviewing family resources, not an automatic full-cost scholarship for every applicant. Applying for aid Indicate on the admission application that you require financial aid, then submit the CSS Profile digitally using code 2086. International applicants facing substantial hardship may request a CSS fee-waiver code in their applicant portal after the admission application is processed. Paper and PDF copies are not accepted. Separated parent households may each need to complete a Profile; follow any additional verification requests. Colgate waives the admission application fee for non-U.S. citizens, excluding U.S. dual citizens and permanent residents. Those classifications follow domestic procedures. Academic and applicable language requirements still apply. Deadlines The current annual schedule sets both admission and aid deadlines at November 1 for Early Decision I and January 15 for Early Decision II or Regular Decision. Both Early Decision plans are binding. Colgate’s pages differ on a later January CSS fee-waiver request cutoff; request any waiver early and submit aid by January 15 rather than assuming an extension. First-year entrants are limited to eight semesters of institutional aid. Students who did not apply for or qualify for aid upon admission cannot obtain it later.
