## Overview The Beit Trust and the University of Edinburgh jointly fund postgraduate students from Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe to undertake a taught or research Masters programme at Edinburgh. The Trust covers the Beit elements and the University contributes a tuition-fee partnership. ## Benefits - Tuition fees at the University of Edinburgh (jointly funded by the Trust and the University). - Return airfare from Malawi to the UK. - Maintenance allowance, plus settling-in, thesis and book grants. ## Eligibility - Nationals and permanent residents of Malawi, Zambia or Zimbabwe. - Intending to return home after the programme. - Must not already have begun the course; strong undergraduate result plus relevant work experience expected. ## How to apply Apply to the University of Edinburgh for admission, then apply to the Beit Trust in the same cycle. Applications open **1 December 2026** and close at **17:00 CAT on 12 February 2027** for entry in 2027-2028.
